Another great trip here - It went so fast, though! This time we rented a car which made exploring so much easier. We went to the “wild side” one day for the Beach Bar Loop to bar hop and snorkeled at each spot. Also checked out the Dollar Bar - great food, drinks & lots of fish to see in the water. We also had our first grocery shopping experience but was totally worth it to be able to make breakfast and just be lazy in the mornings.

We had a fabulous snorkeling excursion with Clemente, Go Tour Cozumel!! We were all beginners but he put us at ease immediately. Saw so many fish, stingrays, sea turtles, and even a shark!! Our kids will never forget the experience. Oh, and his expertly made guacamole, ceviche and pico de gallo were top notch!

We had no idea what we were getting into with this trip, but we have been astounded by it all … the expertly decorated and appointed beach house, the lovely welcome gifts, the infinity pool / private pier, and all of the lovely restaurants around the island. Can’t tell you how nice it is to jut be able to walk steps to the ocean when you have your kids along - and to have all the snorkel equipment and beach toys on hand and provided in the house.
We will definitely spread the word about this magical place!

We love Cozumel and our best memory always is getting here and getting to the pool and ocean!!! Favorite memory this trip, “My husband caught a Wahoo fish from the fishing boat”. He grilled it and it was great but the look on his face after he pulled it in … “priceless.”

We loved the spectacular sunsets which we watched from inside the refreshing infinity pool overlooking the beach. We recommend a fishing trip with Tres Hermanos as eight mahi-mahi and a barracuda were caught.

Every once in awhile, life gives us the chance to unplug, to let it all go and Shannon & Jeff’s beach villa is the place to do just that. We totally relaxed in their spacious and inviting home. The decor is bright, yet calming at the same time. We felt so close to the sea, which we could see from the sofa and stroll to it in less than a minute. All of our needs were more than met, including massages and a dinner prepared for us by Gaby. Frank and Patty had us totally relaxed when are massages were done. We will be back to unplug soon!

The snorkeling tour and the bar hopping tour with Clemente & Isla, Go Tour Cozumel! The snorkeling trip was perfect weather and we saw a loggerhead sea turtle, lots of stingrays and starfish. The bar tour included a tequila tasting and the best mojitos and margaritas we have ever had.

We also loved the idea of sharing what you don’t use. We left a bottle of wine, some snacks, some toiletries, etc. We hope someone else can use/enjoy! Oh - we also left a hairdryer in the master as the one here didn’t work on high. The least we could do for you opening your beautiful home to us! Thank you!!!

We’ve stayed at Costa del Sol before (in 2017) but liked this house much better! The house is gorgeous. We like that it is so close to the pool area and dock – but not so close to be disturbed. Quiet nights for sleeping and the house is well stocked, so we cooked most nights.
Thanks for the recommendation to go to Miami beach bar and watch the waves on the wild side / other side of the island. We had an awesome trip and are so sad to leave. Thanks for all your hospitality!!! We also loved looking at all the flowers, birds and butterflies around the complex.

I now understand why Cozumel is so popular for Scuba diving. We went scuba diving with Jungle Divers Cozumel and Dive with Julio. Both were excellent Dive companies. The ocean life is breathtaking to see. If you are not a diver, I highly recommend getting certified as soon as possible.

We had the best time! The house is beautiful, and the property feels like a resort. Having the masseuse come to the house and having the boat pick us up from the pier made it to where we never even needed to leave. We only left at night to explore restaurants in downtown. Your home is absolutely beautiful. Your decor, supplies, information, books, etc was well thought out and implemented. Who could ask for anything more? The perfect beach house!! Congrats on creating such a great wonderful paradise.
We arrived the day Hurricane Grace was just off shore waiting to make her landfall. Beautiful all day with clouds and a small breeze. Wonderful evening spent at the pool with all the other brave souls. I was surprised by how many owners were here but it just proves how wonderful this community is. The owners love their properties and would rather be here even with a storm coming. This was also very reassuring because they klept a watch ovr the property the entire night and worked together the following day with each other for clean up. I was up several times during the night and looked outside and saw one of the walking the paths with a flashlight … even during the worst of the storm.

Favorite memory / Recommended Activity:
Take a drive on the “Wild Side” of the Island! Blow holes and bars… maybe a crocodile? We loved looking around the island. We also loved our snorkeling / beach picnic and the water was amazing! We also spent a day on the mainland visiting the cenotes and Tulum.

This place is beautiful. The views are always changing and fun to watch. My hubby doesn’t like the sand, so this pool was his favorite. We did manage to get him to walk on the coral and get in the ocean, several times. Our teenager enjoyed our time as well. We had spent a Covid year cooped up and this was our first big vacation. Sooo needed this oasis from these crazy times. We left refreshed and full of hope as things are getting better around the world. Thanks for sharing this piece of paradise! Love, The Hemphills
