Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. This was our families first time in Cozumel and my parents first time in Mexico. This was such an amazing and unforgettable trip for all of us. The hags have been to Cozumel several times so we had personal tour guides. Love the pier pick up for the daily dives. Best location ever!! Your home is beautiful comfortable and perfect for all things Coastal. We will definitely be back. This stay convinced us to never do all inclusive again. I cannot imagine any better way to vacation than what we did this past week.

Favorite memory/recommended activity: I have loved snorkeling for over 20 years. At 69 I did my first one tank discovery dive at Chankanaab as you do not need certification. Enrique was my instructor. He was the best, the dive was a dream come true with MJ's dive shop. We had a nine month old, with us he loved the tide pool and pool. Joy to watch. He now will have a life long love of swimming.

We were here a month and it began to feel like home. It's hard to leave and we sure hope to come back again as a family. Perhaps future grandbabies will enjoy the ocean first here. We felt very at home here. A4 was well equipped with everything we needed. Shannon was a very attentive hostess responding quickly to my questions. Her recommendations were all good. We took two snorkel trips, arranged by Clemente, Go Tour Cozumel. For one tour there were only six on the boat, which was fantastic. The second tour there were 13 in the boat, but it was still very good. Restaurants we loved were Casa mission, Azul Madera, Sereno (which has a great sunset view), Dona Chely down the road for tacos and sandwiches and “Always the Sunsets”.

Thank you for the beautiful home and the opportunity to stay at this resort. We felt very comfortable. I had every amenity we could ever need. Our family of six adults with Eddie for five days and 18. We saw amazing coral, fish galore, and made memories to last a lifetime. We enjoyed a variety of restaurants on the island and are having a challenge choosing our favorite. We had rented a car which allowed us to explore more, we highly recommend that! We can't wait to be back!

Favorite memory/recommended activity: Yucatán peninsula to Chichen Itza, Mayan village, cenote. We took the 12 hour day trip. At Cielo… We saw sea turtles, swam with the eagle rays and tons of fish over the coral reefs.

We have so enjoyed our time here on the island and couldn't have had a more pleasant day than here at Jeff and Shannon's villa. Their place is definitely a five star resort. We so appreciated the referrals for Clemente’s snorkeling adventure. Both Clemente and their propert manager, Alex both did great jobs and went out of their way to accommodate the weather in our schedule. The chef meal was very good the team came to the house to cook. We spent one day at the beach club and several of us the jet skis, but due to win could not parasail. Dona Chely, the little taco stand a half a mile down the road was amazing, we highly recommend it. Thank you again Jeff and Shannon!

Another great trip here - It went so fast, though! This time we rented a car which made exploring so much easier. We went to the “wild side” one day for the Beach Bar Loop to bar hop and snorkeled at each spot. Also checked out the Dollar Bar - great food, drinks & lots of fish to see in the water. We also had our first grocery shopping experience but was totally worth it to be able to make breakfast and just be lazy in the mornings.

Favorite Memory / Recommended Activity: We had a fabulous snorkeling excursion with Clemente, Go Tour Cozumel!! We were all beginners but he put us at ease immediately. Saw so many fish, stingrays, sea turtles, and even a shark!! Our kids will never forget the experience. Oh, and his expertly made guacamole, ceviche and pico de gallo were top notch!

We had no idea what we were getting into with this trip, but we have been astounded by it all … the expertly decorated and appointed beach house, the lovely welcome gifts, the infinity pool / private pier, and all of the lovely restaurants around the island. Can’t tell you how nice it is to jut be able to walk steps to the ocean when you have your kids along - and to have all the snorkel equipment and beach toys on hand and provided in the house. We will definitely spread the word about this magical place!

Favorite Memory / Recommended Activity: We love Cozumel and our best memory always is getting here and getting to the pool and ocean!!! Favorite memory this trip, “My husband caught a Wahoo fish from the fishing boat”. He grilled it and it was great but the look on his face after he pulled it in … “priceless.”

Our stay was wonderful at this house, the chef Gabby that was recommended was out of this world!! We enjoyed each fun filled day here as well as our scheduled outings. There is just something about this island that is so special, you just can’t wait to get back and relax…

Favorite Memory / Recommended Activity: We loved the spectacular sunsets which we watched from inside the refreshing infinity pool overlooking the beach. We recommend a fishing trip with Tres Hermanos as eight mahi-mahi and a barracuda were caught.

Every once in awhile, life gives us the chance to unplug, to let it all go and Shannon & Jeff’s beach villa is the place to do just that. We totally relaxed in their spacious and inviting home. The decor is bright, yet calming at the same time. We felt so close to the sea, which we could see from the sofa and stroll to it in less than a minute. All of our needs were more than met, including massages and a dinner prepared for us by Gaby. Frank and Patty had us totally relaxed when are massages were done. We will be back to unplug soon!

Shannon, you made the best suggestions for us!  We loved Vero with Soy Gardel so much that we asked her to come back again. Our massages with Nallely and our snorkeling excursion day with Clemente, Go Tour Cozumel, was the best – wish we would have gone snorkeling more with him.

What a fabulous place! It had everything we needed including 2 coffeemakers. We rested, ate, enjoyed the strong Wi-Fi , sunned and had fun. The Costa del Sol complex was great and everyone working here is so friendly. We felt very safe. Beds were great. Kitchen was well stocked – perfect.  The sunsets and beach are the greatest. Being picked up on the dock every morning to scuba dive with Jungle Divers Cozumel (highly recommend). Sitting in the sand. Gorgeous sunsets. And cheers to the ground’s maintenance crew at Costa del Sol – the landscape is beautiful!

We’ve stayed at Costa del Sol before (in 2017) but liked this house much better!  The house is gorgeous. We like that it is so close to the pool area and dock – but not so close to be disturbed. Quiet nights for sleeping and the house is well stocked, so we cooked most nights.

Thanks for the recommendation to go to Miami beach bar and watch the waves on the wild side / other side of the island. We had an awesome trip and are so sad to leave.  Thanks for all your hospitality!!! We also loved looking at all the flowers, birds and butterflies around the complex.

Favorite memory/recommended activity: I now understand why Cozumel is so popular for Scuba diving. We went scuba diving with Jungle Divers Cozumel and Dive with Julio. Both were excellent Dive companies. The ocean life is breathtaking to see. If you are not a diver, I highly recommend getting certified as soon as possible.

We are back too!  LOL (Glenda). The We’ve Gone Coastal vacation rental house is so comfortable and welcoming. Truly a home away from home. Will plan to visit over and over again.

OMG!! What a great girls trip. The house was perfection. Love the snorkeling with Clemente and Isla, Go Tour Cozumel. Massage was wonderful and the chef prepared dinner was such a treat.

 Favorite memory/recommended activity: How do I choose? In-house massage was perfect. Chef Vero made us a wonderful meal. Clemente and Isla with Go Tour Cozumel had us laughing all day long on a fabulous snorkeling trip.

The house is beautiful and very inviting! Perfect setting. Love the pool area. The fruit basket and wine were also a very nice touch! We will be back!

  Favorite memory/recommended activity: Snorkeling with Isla and Clemente - Go Tour Cozumel! Columbia, Palancar and El Cielo. Private massages in the house every morning … sunsets by the pool. Kooban Laab, Condessa and Sereno for restaurants … delicious food and great atmosphere! Chatting with people in the pool. Mojitos at Miami!

We had the best time! The house is beautiful, and the property feels like a resort. Having the masseuse come to the house and having the boat pick us up from the pier made it to where we never even needed to leave. We only left at night to explore restaurants in downtown. Security called us taxis making it so easy. We can’t wait to return and to keep making memories here. Thank you so much for letting us stay the week at We’ve Gone Coastal. We are leaving with the best memories!

Your home is absolutely beautiful. Your decor, supplies, information, books, etc was well thought out and implemented. Who could ask for anything more? The perfect beach house!! Congrats on creating such a great wonderful paradise.

We arrived the day Hurricane Grace was just off shore waiting to make her landfall. Beautiful all day with clouds and a small breeze. Wonderful evening spent at the pool with all the other brave souls. I was surprised by how many owners were here but it just proves how wonderful this community is. The owners love their properties and would rather be here even with a storm coming. This was also very reassuring because they klept a watch ovr the property the entire night and worked together the following day with each other for clean up. I was up several times during the night and looked outside and saw one of the walking the paths with a flashlight … even during the worst of the storm.

OMG! We don’t want to leave! Our stay at We’ve Gone Coastal has been the most fun, the most relaxing, the most beauty, the most friendly people, the most smiles we have ever had on a vacation. The accomodations were top notch - 5 star! We felt so relaxed and comfortable our whole stay. No matter the weather, we were well cared for. The grounds, pool and ocean views are so very amazing you could sit and gaze out forever. Thank you so much Dory and Jeffe’ for the wonderful stay of a lifetime. Favorite memory / Recommended Activity: Superb location with outstanding accommodations. The entire stay was outstanding and counting the days come back. Buccano’s Restaurant food is delicious as well as the atmosphere they offer.

We had a nightly event watching the gorgeous sunsets and meeting the people at the pool. It is very safe and relaxing. I highly recommend staying here more than once a year. I could honestly have stayed forever. The word is total paradise. Beautiful accomodations and views, friendly people. What more could you ask for.

Favorite memory / Recommended Activity: We loved the house at Costa del Sol. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. Definitely the cleanest we have stayed in. You can see the pool from the living room!! The kitchen is fantastic. They have thought of everything you need to make a great meal on a night in. We also enjoyed the beautiful sunsets out by the pool every evening. I can’t wait to plan our next trip back

We really enjoyed our dives with Jungle Divers. Stephan is an awesome dive master. I was a little nervous at first . It was our first time to dive after our open water certification. He made us feel comfortable so I was able to really enjoy our dives. ~ Love, Brad & Denise

Favorite memory / Recommended Activity: We enjoyed bar hopping around the island. Scuba diving is amazing with Jungle Divers and the rum tasting was alot of fun at the Cozumel Rum Company!

We loved our time in Cozumel at Costa Del Sol! The property is lovely, safe and well maintained. The house is lovely and has everything you need for a getaway! We had an amazing dinner cooking the house by Chef Vero Gzz, Soy Gardel. She does an excellent job - I highly recommend. The pool is a great place to meet other people staying and a perfect place to capture the beautiful sunsets. I truly consider this to be my happy place and definitely will be back. Favorite memory / Recommended Activity: Take a drive on the “Wild Side” of the Island! Blow holes and bars… maybe a crocodile? We loved looking around the island. We also loved our snorkeling / beach picnic and the water was amazing! We also spent a day on the mainland visiting the cenotes and Tulum.

This place is beautiful. The views are always changing and fun to watch. My hubby doesn’t like the sand, so this pool was his favorite. We did manage to get him to walk on the coral and get in the ocean, several times. Our teenager enjoyed our time as well. We had spent a Covid year cooped up and this was our first big vacation. Sooo needed this oasis from these crazy times. We left refreshed and full of hope as things are getting better around the world. Thanks for sharing this piece of paradise! Love, The Hemphills
